Brenau University Department of Dance, with the support of the Georgia Council of the Arts’ Vibrant Community Grant, invites you to the first concert dedicated to dances from around the world!
Dates/times: May 11 at 6pm, and May 12th at 3pm
Location: Pearce Auditorium, 202 Boulevard NE, Gainesville, GA 30501
Cost: $5 (cash or credit at the door; no online preshow ticket sales).
The unique, collaborative initiative will feature community members, Brenau faculty/staff/students, Gainesville High School Theatre/Dance students, and special guests Capoeira Maculele Decatur, Ballet Mexicano de Lupita Sosa, Miranda Burgo (Dominican Republic), Zenai Alonso (Mexican Huapango), FAFAA Dance Ensemble (Ghana), and Master Drummer Kofi Mawuko.

The Gainesville Trolleys are Back for the Summer Season!
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until Sept 7, The Gainesville Trolleys will service two routes – Dixon and Glenwood/Riverside neighborhoods – from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
“HAT (Hall Area Transit) is thrilled to share the Gainesville Trolleys transported nearly 19,000 passengers during its second season in 2023 – an increase of almost 100% from its launch year,” said Gainesville-Hall County Community Service Center Director Phillippa Lewis Moss, who oversees HAT.

Hot Summer nights is all about celebrating our hometown, with homegrown fun! As the sun goes down, head downtown for dinner, shopping, and live music.
From 6-9 pm, enjoy local Gainesville vendors along with a local charity that we’ll be supporting/celebrating for the evening!
From 7-9 pm, the Gainesville Micro Music Festival will provide music from local North Georgia Artists.
